Katarzyna Ślizowska

Veterinarian Katarzyna Ślizowska graduated in 2017. From the very beginning of her professional career, she has placed particular emphasis on accurate diagnostics and the proper interpretation of test results.

She also gained experience at ALAB Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, working alongside experienced veterinary haematologists. Her particular areas of interest include the evaluation of blood smears and urine sediment, as well as the use of laboratory diagnostics in solving complex clinical cases.

In 2022, she completed a specialist training programme in canine and feline diseases in Wrocław. Currently, she is primarily developing her expertise in veterinary endoscopy, gastroenterology, and respiratory diseases. She has completed, among others:

• the Veterinary Endoscopy School,
• the “Gastroenterology of Dogs and Cats” course,
• endoscopy workshops dedicated to respiratory diseases,
• Level I and II training courses on brachycephalic breed syndromes,
• numerous courses in ultrasonography, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, nephrology, haematology, anaesthesiology, and emergency medicine in Poland and abroad.

In her private life, she is the owner of a Chihuahua. Among her dreams outside veterinary medicine are taking a cave diving course and starting her own beekeeping operation.
