About us

Our mission is to correctly diagnose and effectively treat and, in the case of chronic diseases, to optimally control them to ensure the comfort of our patients and their carers. All treatments offered are carried out with the utmost care for the safety and comfort of our patients, using only professional methods and modern equipment.

For more than 15 years, Dermawet has been organizing specialist training courses for veterinary surgeons in cytological and oncological diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, otology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, anesthesiology, and marketing. Some courses are followed by internships in our clinic. We are constantly expanding our offer to meet the needs of our clients. Our training center is considered by veterinarians to be one of the most highly regarded on the educational map of Poland for veterinarians.

Preparing for the visit

Before your first visit

You should take with you documentation of the patient's previous treatment, including test results - what diet (name/composition) the patient currently receives, and what food was served in the past.
Please bring your vaccination booklet and entries regarding prevention against external and internal parasites.
If you currently use dermocosmetics/supplements, please make a list of them.
We are aware that some patients' fear of examination manifests itself in aggression, so it is worth taking a muzzle.
It is often necessary to perform a blood test during the first consultation, so we recommend that the patient fast 8 hours before the visit.

Before your next visit

Please take your test results and transcripts from visits to other clinics.

Before the blood test

The patient fasts for at least 8 hours unless the doctor recommends otherwise.
Before a control test of thyroid hormone levels (already during treatment!), the test is performed on an empty stomach 4-6 hours after drug administration.

Before the ultrasound examination

On an empty stomach for 6-8 hours.
If the examination is to include the bladder, it should be full.

Before surgery/anesthesia

The anesthesiologist qualifies for the procedure after reviewing the medical documentation, test results and based on the assessment of the patient's clinical condition on the day of the procedure.

Current blood tests (morphology, biochemistry).
Current echocardiography.

Clinical examination

The second stage of the visit is to carry out the necessary tests to diagnose our patient.

Therapeutic plan

The final stage is diagnosis and the selection of appropriate therapy and treatment to quickly get rid of the problem.
